1. INTRODUCTION
Welcome to Feluna ("Company," "we," "us," or "our").
Feluna operates this website and online store, including all related content, information, tools, products, and services (collectively, the "Services"). The Services are hosted and powered by Shopify Inc.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Feluna and govern your access to and use of the Services, as well as the purchase and use of any products offered through the Services.
BY ACCESSING, USING, OR PURCHASING FROM THE SERVICES, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS, INCLUDING THE ARBITRATION AGREEMENT AND CLASS ACTION WAIVER SET FORTH BELOW.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Services.

3. ELIGIBILITY
By using the Services, you represent and warrant that:
You are at least 18 years old
You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
All information you provide is accurate and current
Purchases are for personal, non-commercial use only, unless expressly authorized in writing by Feluna
We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel orders, or terminate access for violations of these Terms.
You are responsible for all activity conducted under your account.
4. PRODUCT CATEGORY AND INTENDED USE
The Feluna scratch and treat puzzle box is a passive, non-electric solid-wood pet-enrichment product for domestic cats, measuring approximately 39 x 30 cm. It consists of a maze-style top with fish-, paw-, and mouse-shaped cutouts over channels in which the owner can hide dry cat treats, combined with an integrated abrasive (sandpaper-type) scratching and filing surface. As a cat digs and paws for the treats, its claws drag across the abrasive surface, which can gradually blunt the tips of the claws the cat actively uses through ordinary scratching action. Replacement abrasive refill packs are sold separately; the abrasive surface is a consumable that wears with use.
The product:
Is a general consumer pet-enrichment product, and is not a medical device, veterinary device, or grooming treatment device
Contains no electronics, no heating elements, no batteries, no cables, and no moving mechanical parts; it operates purely passively
Is intended for use only by domestic cats, indoors, under the supervision and responsibility of an adult owner, consistent with the included instructions; it is not intended for dogs or any other animals
Is NOT a children's toy and is not intended for use by or around unsupervised children
Does NOT include cat treats. Feluna does not sell, supply, or include any pet food or treats. You select and supply the treats used with the product, and you are solely responsible for choosing treats that are appropriate and safe for your cat, including with regard to your cat's diet, allergies, age, and health
Is not a certified food-contact container. Use only dry treats with the product, and do not place wet food, liquids, or perishable food in the product
You agree to use the product only for its intended purpose and in accordance with these Terms and the instructions and safety information provided with the product.
5. GENERAL USE AND PET AND HOUSEHOLD SAFETY
This product is a solid-wood object with an abrasive surface, used by animals and kept in the home. To reduce the risk of injury to pets or people and damage to property, you must observe the following:
Placement and supervision
Place the product on a stable, level, non-slip surface where it cannot tip, slide, or fall
Supervise your cat during initial use and periodically thereafter; do not leave a cat unsupervised with the product if it chews, bites, or attempts to dismantle it
Never force a cat onto or into the product; allow the cat to approach and use it voluntarily
In multi-cat households, introduce the product gradually and monitor for resource guarding or conflict between animals; provide sufficient resources for each cat
Condition and inspection
Inspect the product regularly for cracks, splinters, loose or broken parts, exposed fasteners, and excessive wear of the abrasive surface
Stop using the product immediately and keep it away from pets and people if it becomes damaged, splintered, unstable, or otherwise appears unsafe
Replace the abrasive surface when worn, using only suitable replacement material; do not use the product with a torn, lifting, or detaching abrasive surface
Children
Keep the product away from infants and children at all times; the abrasive surface can injure skin, wood components can splinter, small parts or fragments can detach, and treats placed in the product can present a choking hazard
The product is not a toy and must not be used by or on children
Treats, hygiene, and pests
Use only dry cat treats; remove uneaten treats regularly and do not leave food in the product for extended periods
Clean the product regularly; food residue can attract insects or other pests and can promote mold growth
Do not allow pets to chew, gnaw on, or ingest the wood, the abrasive surface, or any fragment of the product; if you suspect your pet has ingested any part of the product, contact a veterinarian promptly
Animal health
If your cat has injured, bandaged, or recently operated paws, damaged or infected claws, or any paw, claw, or skin condition, consult a veterinarian before allowing use of the product
If your cat has been declawed (fully or partially), is a senior animal, or has any condition affecting its paws, mobility, or grooming behavior, consult a veterinarian before use
Discontinue use and consult a veterinarian if you observe limping, bleeding, damaged claws, paw irritation, or any other sign of discomfort or injury connected with use of the product
Discontinue use if the product becomes damaged, unstable, or otherwise appears unsafe.
6. CARE AND CLEANING
Proper care preserves the wood, the abrasive surface, and the structural integrity of the product. You are responsible for following the care information provided with the product.
Never machine wash, immerse, soak, hose down, or saturate the product; it is made of wood and will be damaged by water exposure
Clean only by vacuuming, brushing out crumbs and debris, or gentle spot-cleaning with a slightly damp cloth, and allow the product to dry fully before further use
Do not use bleach, solvents, ammonia, strong-scented cleaners, or other harsh cleaning agents; cats groom their paws, and cleaning-product residue on the product can be ingested by your pet. Where a cleaning agent is needed, use only pet-safe products and wipe thoroughly with a damp cloth afterwards
Keep the product away from standing moisture, rain, and direct prolonged sunlight; do not store it in damp locations
The abrasive filing surface is set into the base of the product and is not user-replaceable; gradual wear of this surface through normal use is expected and is not a defect
Damage caused by failure to follow the care instructions, including water or liquid damage, warping from moisture, chewing damage, or damage from improper cleaning, is considered misuse and is not a manufacturing defect
7. NO VETERINARY OR MEDICAL CLAIMS
The Feluna scratch and treat puzzle box is a general consumer pet-enrichment product. The scratching and filing action it provides is a passive, physical, abrasive property of the product. Descriptions of scratching, filing, or blunting of claws describe how the product physically works, not veterinary, medical, or grooming-treatment benefits.
The product is:
NOT a medical device, veterinary device, therapeutic device, or grooming treatment device
NOT intended to diagnose, treat, cure, relieve, reduce, mitigate, manage, or prevent any feline medical or behavioral condition, including but not limited to destructive scratching as a behavioral disorder, anxiety, stress, arthritis, overgrown claws, ingrown claws, split or damaged claws, nail or nail-bed infections, paw injuries, or any other disease, disorder, symptom, or condition of any animal
NOT a substitute for claw trimming, professional grooming, or veterinary care where these are needed
The filing effect of the product is inherently limited: it can only affect claws that the cat actively and repeatedly drags across the abrasive surface. Dewclaws and any claws the cat does not use on the surface are not filed. Depending on your cat, its claws may still require periodic trimming by you, a groomer, or a veterinarian. Overgrown, ingrown, curling, split, or damaged claws are matters for a veterinarian or professional groomer, not for this product.
References on the Services to "calm," "stress-free," "no clippers," "no wrestling," or similar phrases describe the convenience of the owner's routine and the passive nature of the product. They are not promises of any health benefit, behavioral outcome, or grooming result for any particular animal. The product has not been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and is not marketed for any medical or veterinary purpose. If you have any concern about your cat's claws, paws, skin, behavior, or health, consult a licensed veterinarian. Do not rely on this product, and do not delay or replace veterinary care, for any condition of your animal.
Every cat is different. No representation is made that any particular cat will use the product, and no specific engagement, scratching, filing, or behavioral outcome is guaranteed.
8. PRODUCT SAFETY AND COMPLIANCE
This product is a consumer pet product made primarily of wood with an abrasive surface and is sourced from third-party manufacturers. We require our manufacturing partners to provide products that comply with applicable U.S. consumer product safety and labeling requirements, including the Consumer Product Safety Act and other applicable U.S. requirements for general-use household and pet products.
Any certifications, test reports, compliance documentation, or safety representations relating to the wood, adhesives, coatings, abrasive components, fasteners, or construction of the product originate from the supplier or manufacturer and are supplier representations only. They are not independent compliance attestations made by Feluna.
No representation or warranty is made by Feluna that the product meets all applicable safety or labeling standards under all conditions of use. Wood is a natural material; grain, color, texture, and knots vary between units. The actual material composition and country of origin are stated on the product or its packaging and labeling.
Normal use of the product, in which a cat's claws repeatedly abrade the filing surface and the wood, can generate small amounts of fine dust and particles. Clean the product and the surrounding area regularly.
CALIFORNIA PROPOSITION 65 WARNING: Drilling, sawing, sanding, or machining wood products can expose you to wood dust, a substance known to the State of California to cause cancer. This product is a wood product and its use involves abrasion of wood and abrasive surfaces. This warning is provided on a precautionary basis, including with respect to wood dust, adhesives, and coatings. Avoid inhaling dust and clean the product area regularly. 9. ASSUMPTION OF RISK
You voluntarily assume all risks associated with the use or misuse of the product, including but not limited to:
Injury to your cat or other animals, including splinters, abrasion of paw pads or skin, snagged, torn, split, or damaged claws, or irritation from contact with the abrasive surface
Ingestion by an animal of wood fragments, abrasive material, adhesives, detached parts, or spoiled treats left in the product, and any resulting illness or injury
Injury to people, including splinters, abrasion from the filing surface, injury from lifting, carrying, or dropping the product, or tripping over the product
Damage to floors, furniture, or other property, including scratching, staining, treat residue, or dust generated by use
Attraction of insects or other pests, or mold growth, resulting from food left in or around the product
Conflict or injury between animals in multi-pet households arising from use of or competition over the product
Reliance on the product for claw maintenance in place of needed claw trimming, professional grooming, or veterinary care, contrary to the No Veterinary or Medical Claims section above
Any injury, loss, or damage arising from misuse, improper placement, improper cleaning, failure to supervise, or failure to discontinue use upon observing any problem
Your purchase and use of this product constitutes your voluntary assumption of these risks.
10. PRODUCT PRESENTATION DISCLAIMER
Product images, videos, descriptions, testimonials, and marketing materials are for illustrative purposes only.
Actual product appearance may vary. Wood is a natural material: grain pattern, color tone, texture, and knots differ from unit to unit and may differ from photographs. Color may also differ between screens.
Testimonials and reviews about cats using the product, reduced furniture scratching, claw condition, or calmer routines reflect individual experiences with individual animals and do not represent typical results. No representation is made that any testimonial result is typical or achievable for any particular cat, and no engagement, behavioral, or claw-care outcome is implied or guaranteed.
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue products at any time without notice.
11. ORDERS AND BILLING
All orders constitute an offer to purchase and may be accepted or rejected at our discretion.
Orders generally cannot be modified or canceled once placed.
You authorize us to charge your selected payment method for all amounts due.
We reserve the right to cancel orders suspected of fraud, abuse, or unauthorized resale.
12. SHIPPING AND INTERNATIONAL FULFILLMENT
Orders ship directly from international fulfillment partners, primarily located in China, to the customer in the United States. Goods do not transit through Germany at any point.
Feluna does not maintain warehousing, retail, or fulfillment operations in either the United States or Germany.
You acknowledge that:
Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees
Delays due to customs or carriers may occur
Accurate shipping information is your responsibility
Orders marked as delivered by the carrier are considered fulfilled
13. RETURNS AND PAYMENT DISPUTES
Returns and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, including the 30-day satisfaction guarantee.
We reserve the right to contest improper chargebacks or abusive dispute behavior.
Customers engaging in excessive or fraudulent disputes may be refused future service.
14. USER CONTENT LICENSE
By submitting reviews, images, videos, or other content, you grant Feluna a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable license to use such content for marketing, promotional, and business purposes.
15. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content on the Services is owned by Feluna or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws.
Unauthorized use is prohibited.
16. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ALL PRODUCTS AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE".
WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Nothing in this section limits or excludes any warranty or other right that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.
17. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF:

WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM USE OR MISUSE OF THE PRODUCT.
18. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify and hold Feluna harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from misuse of the product or violation of these Terms.
19. INFORMAL DISPUTE RESOLUTION
Before initiating arbitration, you agree to contact support@tryfeluna.com and allow 30 days for informal resolution.
20. ARBITRATION AND CLASS ACTION WAIVER
Any dispute shall be resolved by binding arbitration under the Federal Arbitration Act, administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules.
Arbitration shall be conducted on an individual basis
No class actions or representative claims
Arbitration may take place remotely or in New York, New York
Small claims court remains permitted
Opt-Out: You may opt out within 30 days of purchase by emailing support@tryfeluna.com with your full name and order number.
21. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and without depriving consumers of mandatory rights under applicable consumer protection laws, including those of their state of residence.
22. ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS
You consent to receive communications electronically.
23. FORCE MAJEURE
We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
24. SEVERABILITY AND ENTIRE AGREEMENT
If any provision is deemed invalid, the remaining provisions remain enforceable.
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Feluna.
